Don't wait for the season to start , put a call in your pocket and practice .
A good place is in the truck on your way to and from work.
A bad place is in your basement , after about 5 min you will be told what to do with your call!!! |

| I dont think that everyone can appreciate a good yelp, cluck and purr combo. A shame isnt it. Also if you are in the city it can be real fun to see people try to figure out what that noise is.hahaha |

As all of you know , the turkey call sounds alot different when you hear yourself calling in your own face. Get your video cameras out and place it 30-50 yards away and try your different calls an hear them as the birds will hear them. You will also be able to test your soft talk volume.

| Congrats on the first turkey hunt, Big D. Stick with your bow if you enjoy hunting that way. I cant tell you how many times I only saw hens when hunting with a gun So gun or bow enjoy the challenge and whole experience. Pulling the trigger or releasing the string is only part of the hunt. |
